I got this from my chicken today. It has been a very stressful week for her. Her flock mates were killed by the neighbor's dog. The eggs are also extremely thin and fragile. The crack you see happened when I pulled it from the laying box.
This is my Mega egg compared with an average sized egg.
THis is my mini egg ( right ) with a quail egg.
mini egg with a normal egg.
Mega egg far right. previouse biggest egg ( double yolka ) then normal egg, then bantam egg, than quail egg.

We got another wind egg yesterday! Unlike the first that was very brittle, it's a perfect little egg with a solid little shell, so I blew out the insides and saved it. I don't know what I'm going to do with it, but I'll figure something out.
One of our chickens laid this yesterday. I found it in a nesting box in the middle of a broken egg shell. Not sure whether this was laid separately after the first egg had broken and this is an "egg" unto itself, or if this is what was inside the first egg. I think it was the former, because there was yolk and albumen evident in the hay beneath the crushed egg. The one pictured had a rubbery texture with a tacky feel to the outside. I cut it open to see what was inside and found a small squirt of colorless liquid (albumen?), but mostly just more of the rubbery material. What is it?!
My five hens have been laying for about 3 weeks now and have been pretty regular on laying daily eggs. Went out today and found this one. It must have hurt.
