Yes! I saw my first of the year at our feeder yesterday!Speaking of migrating birds, anyone seen hummingbirds yet? Journey North migration map says they are here... I haven't seen any yet
Okay so I'm confused... I know there's a meet and greet with the option to bring your birds... I'm guessing that's going to be rescheduled but I can't find the thread with it. We're AI free and have chicks needing homes. We're roo heavy but they're nice boys. They'll be about 12 weeks by June 8th and I have a few pullets as well.Yes, it goes in effect May 8 - Jun 9. Had to post it for my swap-n-meet group letting them know that we will not be able to bring birds to the swap.
This is what I was asking for pictures of. Not birds dead from AI.Hello everyone. I have 4 Female Splash Laced Red Wyandottes that are 7 months old. Getting ready to lay real soon. I really need to rehome them. Hopefully to someone who will spoil them lol. So sad I have to get rid of them. I’m in southeast Michigan. Dearborn. Thank you
Thanks for the clarification. I appreciate it. I didn't know if that included chickenstock ."All exhibitions or expositions of poultry are prohibited until such time that
there are no new cases of HPAI in domestic poultry in the State of Michigan
for at least 30 consecutive days"
So, no gatherings of poultry from different sources. It does not prohibit private sales or movement of poultry between farms that have no signs of HPAI.
