I have this Splash Wyandotte baby that I think might just be a weird-looking pullet but it's really leggy, feather have come in weird and it's tail has some roo-ish looking feathers in it(longer & curved).

I know Wyandottes mature slowly but "she" just looks put together strangely for a pullet so I thought I would double check with everyone here.

This bird is 5 months old next week.

Thank you all for the responses. and yes, VERY strange looking for a pullet... maybe her hormones just haven't figured themselves out?

I guess I will have to just keep picture records of her in case she magically turns into a roo or something

Shes pure wyandotte, i hatched her from my own flock. I did have some olive egger hens but for this girl to have come out splash her momma had to be my splash hen. Her father is my buff laced roo. Not all wyandottes have yellow legs, although they are supposed to. Her dad is also leggy like her and her grandfather was as well. But besides all that i dont have any orps.

Not a pure Wyandotte. Wyandottes have yellow legs. I'd say she's mixed with an Orpington, that would explain some of the huge fluffiness and legginess.
