Boer Goats For Sale in Pennsylvania!!!

HT is what Premier recommends for permanent fencing, that's the way we're tending once we get the fence lines under control. I hate kudzu.

In between we'll be using their semi-permanent netting to get the different steep meadows cleared out. One thing at a time

What size boers are they - weights are hard to tell in photos. Do boers also come in poled? Horns make me leery... Guess disbudding is always an option.

Thanks.

The goats are about 50 - 60 lbs. They are not dehorned but I assure you that our goats most likely won't hurt you.

Too many folks locally who keep goats or sell them blink at me when I say CL or CAE...

Things that make you go hmmmm.

So finding people actually working intelligently with goats is always a good thing.

50-60 and docile is a good size for me.

What's processing run for a goat - been wayyy too long since I've looked at the $$ end of farming.

Ah, no offense Stacey. And I couldn't have gotten goats from PA, we're way too far.

Ours would have to be dual purpose munchers. If it wants a feed other than what's growing, it has to contribute. So everything here has got to "sustain" the whole.

Boers are suitably persistent browse workers, which is why I'm interested in them.

We'll probably run boers and mini-dairy goats in the long run. Need shelter and some kind of fence first.

Saw this and just had to post. Hope you don't mind. I raise goats also, we have Boers and Dairy. Ours are dual purpose animals, they eat weeds and provide us with meat and milk and babies to sell. Goat meat is very good. Here is our web site: www.freewebs.com/qhluvr34 If I am not suppose to post it here I am sorry, I can delete it, just tell me. I am going through a divorce, so we are downsizing right now.
