Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I cooked another one in the oven a couple days ago and have 6 chunks wrapped in foil and frozen. Quick and easy eating.

I spent a lot of time driving today returning shoes I bought on Amazon. Drove to Staples in Chehalis and they said they couldn't take it... had to go to a real UPS store. 40 miles burned up.

So I drove to the UPS store in Longview and finished the return. That was another 60 miles. Oh well, at least the chore is done.
There is a place in Chehalis that takes UPS, FedEx and Postal packages. It's on Market St, just south of Safeway. It might be actually on Jackson Hwy, which is what Market St turns into on the south side of town. If you take the 13th St offramp, instead of going left to Safeway, go right and you'll see it on the right about 2 or 3 blocks down next to a little Mexican Restaurant. Wish I could remember the name of it. It's not one of the big chains, but they take everything.

BTW, don't recommend the little Mexican Restaurant. lol

Thanks Valerie. I think the problem with my return was that it was a packageless return, and all I was provided with was a QR code; no actual shipping label.

I was told at the official UPS store that they seal the unwrapped item in a plastic bag, and it goes into a bulk shipping container. Or something like that.

Places that aren't owned/ran by UPS aren't set up for this type of QR code return shipping, so that's why Staples wasn't able to take it.

I was perturbed for just a little bit, muttering expletives as I walked away from the Staples customer service desk. I'd calmed down by the time I got into my truck. LOL

Oh, I had one of those returns. Can't remember now where I took that one. After that I made sure I got a label. And prime. I only buy items on Prime because of the easy returns.

I recently bought some hard to find tea on Amazon and the seller sent me the organic version, which is not what I ordered and not what I wanted. It isn't as good as the original. So I talked with someone at Amazon on their chat function and they refunded my money and told me to toss the tea. But that might have been because we're a prime member.
