Several months ago I posted how the coyote's came in and killed my entire flock. This last Saturday they killed and ate my beloved pug, Kaiser. I can't explain the attachment to this dog. Let just say I am grieving really hard. When my flock was killed I called Animal Control and F&G and was not able to get any help. I was told that there are no programs available to remove nuisance or what they call red flag predators and I was just going to have to live with them. THIS IS NOT TRUE!

The following link is for San Bernardino County's nuisance animal removal. The phone number is for a trapping service that works through 6-7 different Ca. counties to remove these types of animals. If your county says there is no help available this guy can confirm whether or not there is or isn't a county program for where you live. If they had helped me the first time I called my bestest bud would still be here to sleep with me at night and go insane when I got home from work.

Hope this helps someone out there!

Another thing I saw were these solar-powered "night eyes." Is is a little box (weather proof in all conditions) that produces light at night to either look like the eyes of another animal, or make random light flashes, and you can raise the height of it depending on the predators you have. This way it will either lookn like another animal is in your yard, or it will look unsafe and the predator won't be sure about it becasue they do not like to get into trouble for their prey, they will always want to hunt quickly and easily.
