I noticed this morning that one of my 9 week old RR has a broken top beak. She got on my lap and it looked "funny"

Is there anything I can do for her? I did not see her eating with the rest of the girls. I raised them from 3 days old and don't want her to suffer.
Thank you for any information.

It depends.

Battery birds were often debeaked to prevent injury in cages.so she might be fine.

It depends on how they damaged happened and weather it was just the beak or was any damage done to the skull /orbits /eyes etc.

Is there any infection? might need tylan. May also need soft / crumb food if she has trouble eating.

I cant really see the damage clearly in the picture, I have repaired a split beak with superglue before now ( in the dark with great care).

I brought her in the house in a dog kennel. I added water to some crumble and fed some to her with a syringe. As far as I can tell there is no infection. Her top beak is off to the right of the bottom one. It looks like the break is almost half way across the top beak. My luck if I tried the superglue I would glue her beak closed. I plan on giving lots of attention and will see what happens. Thank you for your reply. Also I looked her over and can't see anyother damage.

they seem to manage fine in battery cages with trimmed beaks. they might struggle to pick food of the ground as the cant grab it with the beak. I expect she will learn to shovel food in in time. I would just keep an eye on her for a while.

Keep an eye on her. I've chickens with shorter beaks do fine for a while, then just suddenly do very poorly. Maybe more of the beak broke off and then they had lots of trouble eating.
