Chicken antibiotics

A lot of people swear by terramycin as a broad spectrum antibiotic. Pennicillin is another that comes either as a shot or a powder that is added to their drinking water.
 
How do you know if a chicken has a fever?? Good luck. I hope your chicken is better soon.

Chickens dont get colds, they get a specific disease which requires specific medication. Respiratory diseases spread to other birds, surviving birds are carriers for life and it's best to cull sick birds.
Penicillin is geared more in treating serious bacterial infections from injuries, staph infections but not respiratory diseases.
