Please help me understand meat eaters not wanting to process a chicken!

Just trying to help you out man, I couldn't watch the intellectual vs the housewife trainwreck debate any longer

Ok now that was funny as hell

Hmm.. Let's try this way:

Someone mentioned a person who thought everyone who eats meat should slaughter at least one animal by their own hand. I don't buy that.

If you kill an animal and eat it there are ethical ramifications.

Paying someone to kill is killing.

Buying something which can only be procured through killing is paying someone to kill.

If you are clear on that, cool. I am, and happily buy meat every day. I don't try to fool myself into thinking someone else is responsible for the deaths that entails.

I think it is like someone paying another to serve prison time for them..it is incorrect and shouldn't be tolerated. Everyone who eats meat should acknowledge that the slaughter was done for them and the end responsibility rests with them. As long as people are clear about that, learning the physical skill is like learning to sew.
Capitalism is delicious.

Hungary reminds me of Higgins.
I had two teachers (both Mrs. W's) who were madly in love with Tom Selleck. The first encounter was 4th grade, and I think Magnum P. I. was not even showing any longer by the time I was in her class. Mrs. W was a proper lady in dress, speech, and actions.... until it came to Tom Selleck. She had a poster of him in the class with his furry chest showing and would sometimes make swooning statements about him. For shame! Then came the Mrs. W of 10th grade Spanish, we learned all of our "romantic" Spanish as it related to Tom Selleck.
I think Magnum P. I. was one of those shows we watched for crashes and explosions. My mom loved shows with crashes and explosions. She would laugh so hard.
Remember one TV and three channels?

I hunt wild game all the time and have zero problems cleaning and eating what I kill. Some of us are just different when it comes to killing animals that we raised from birth. A deep love goes in to it and its hard to butcher it. Even if its not a pet. You either understand this or you don't. I have broilers going right now and when I butcher them it is a totally different experience than hunting deer and rabbit. Pray for that animal when you kill it. Any animal you hunt or butcher. All good men and women feel for the animal they are about to kill.
