Incubating Goose Eggs for the first time

Can I possibly pick a few brains on here as well? This is my first time hatching Geese as well. I have 9 Sebbie eggs right now in the bator. I have hatched chickens before and its very clear when you have spiders in their eggs, but I can not tell in these eggs.
Is there a different/better candler to use? i feel like i cant seem to see the middle of the eggs.

I usually use a Maglite, since it's so powerful, I don't have much trouble unless the eggs are dirty.
