When you think of a poodle do you think of an ugly dog? Well to tell you the truth...that is totally wrong! People give poodle ugly cuts, I give mine a normal puppy cut, I will try to get a picture. We have a poodle and his name is Freddy and he is so smart! We got him at eight weeks and he knows sit, lay down, crawl, roll over, come, shake and stay! now he is thirteen weeks! He is so big...

Does anyone else have a poodle?

I have a Toy Poodle mix. 75% Toy Poodle 25% Shih Tzu
We were going to get a Standard Poodle for hunting purposes, but the fact that they are prone to bloat turned us off a bit.
Our Toy Poodle is a old lady now. We got her when she was 8 weeks old and now she's 11 in July I think.
She's starting to develop cataracts and has lost most of her teeth thanks to the Shih Tzu underbite.
She's still super playful though. I think she'll make it to 18.
I'll post some pictures soon.

I would love to see her! I am going to try and get a cute picture of him now, He is 13 weeks!

He's adorable!

My husband always says he doesn't like poodles, but it's only because of the haircuts he sees on some of them. Plus, he doesn't like the long pointed muzzles he often sees. I always left hair on my poodle's muzzle for a 'stache and I thought he was really cute. They are so smart and can have great personalities, as well as being athletic and great companions.

Show clips - not for everyone!

I have a Standard poodle named Sammie. :) Most people who see him ask what kind of dog he is, and when they find out, they say, "I thought poodles were little!"
We keep him in a puppy or sport clip most of the time. Right now, he's shaved all over except for the top of his head. Yeah... he looks pretty silly, but that's okay.
