The chickens will be getting a gourmet breakfast tomorrow -- not just any unsalable peaches, unsalable WHITE peaches. I'll just whack the tiny spot of brown rot off and they'll be in gourmet fruit heaven.

Weed or feed?
Put daily ration of grower feed into feeder.
Pull 6, big ragweed throw into the run.
Chickens ignore grower feed and attack the ragweed like sharks after a wounded seal.
My August, allergy menace has an enemy!

The chickens are having pizza for lunch.
My spare kid is assistant manager at Domino's and brought home a burnt Philly Cheesesteak pizza for them. They liked it so much that I was actually able to catch one of the cockerels.

The flock has been reduced. 5, red roosters went to camp and now the run is no longer too crowded.
Rose-Marion (My suspicions proved correct), with several hens.
A better, but blurry, angle of that handsome, dinosaur head.
Nugget, still undersized but maybe not actually bantam.
Kiev with Rose-Marion's tail.
Noodle, up in my hand. Her chest is red because she's been eating chili.
Just missed catching the hackles fluffed.

Marion has learned to crow.
He's sounded like a creaky door for the last 2 weeks but today had a nice, clear tone.
