My chicks love outside time in their Peck and Play

It is for chickens and I ordered it on line. Google Peck and Play. Also utube has a video of it. I can't remember where I ordered it from. I love it!

What a great idea! I have Silkies, so I feel like I can't let them out unless I'm hovering right over them. If I had something like this, I could at least get things done while they're pecking around.
I do have some questions though, if you don't mind answering them.... :)
How sturdy is it? Its not going to collapse or blow over in the slightest breeze, is it? Can it be divided to separate a couple birds on each side?
The price isn't too terrible, if its made well. I'm thinking about asking for one of these for my birthday, but if its going to fall apart or something I may just make a small tractor myself.
So, can we get a thorough product review please :D Thanks in advance!

I remember I ordered it from Murray McMurray Hatchery and it was 49.00. ( the best money I've ever spent) it is very well made and can be set up in minutes. It's completely closed in and you unzip either end on top to put chicks in. It comes with 6 little metal rods that easily push in the ground to hold it down so no it can't blow away. If you go to Murry McMurry Hatchery and do a search on their site for Peck and Play you will see all the product reviews. One more thing....it is so easy to move around the yard. I move it around the yard every couple of days so they have fresh grass :)

Thanks so much. I'm so getting one of these for my Silkies. Their run is a barren wasteland and I feel bad when they can't get out to range.
Off to the MM website to read some product reviews!

Not to take over the thread but you can build something like this for so much cheaper. This is what I built for my girls when they were a few weeks old

4-1"x2" boards, just around $1 each and 1" mesh chicken wire, a few very small corner brackets (around $2.50 for 4), wood glue (amazing stuff) and a poo ton of staples. Mine is 2ft tall, 2ft wide, and 4ft long. It got cramped for my girls after awhile but it worked amazingly well. Half of the top is open so I placed a piece of plywood on top as shade and the door.

And this is the first thing I've ever built and I cut everything with a hand saw. It was very easy and I was so proud of myself to making it :)

^ That pen looks great!

But, does it fold up to 15"x15" for storage? That's what's sold me on this tent. It pops open in a snap (according to reviews) and folds up small enough that I can stick it just about anywhere. If I put one more chicken item in my hubbies shed he might have an aneurysm and I don't like having a ton of pens just sitting around :/
