JULY HATCH ALONG!!

I'm using a Brinsea Mini. It holds seven eggs with the turning feature. This last had I turned him myself. It's only my second time using it but I really like it.

Back to the babies… So four out of five hatched yesterday. We are very excited. All of them are a cross between our white Sultan and our silver polish crested.
Two babies are white and the other two are black and gray. More pictures coming soon

So here's the result of our hatch. Four out of the five eggs hatched. We have two yellow one black and one blue. I'm so excited about all the different colors. Mom is blue Polish crested and dad is a white sultan. They all have feathered feet which is awesome and cute little mohawks. I can't wait to see with these guys look like when they grow up. Feather sexing shows that they are all girls. That would be wonderful. This was a fantastic hatch.

I bought some hatching eggs right before my birthday in June (30th) ..When they arrived I put them under my broody hen..TODAY the first baby hatched..I'm sooo EXCITED..I bought lavender silkie eggs and was surprised at the coloring..BUT I AM HAPPY he/she hatched and is a silkie...I bought "silkies" from a hatchery last year and no bueno... That color is beautiful!

Considering our shipment of silkie eggs had a terribly rough travel with box gouged in many areas, last night was day 4 in incubator, and we have 7 with veins and 6 with nothing. I left the 6 in there in case they are just late, but I am happy with the 7 and hope they continue to grow healthy. Looking forward to my first hatch. Do those of you that are mid month, jump over the August hatch along or stay here?

I have the same question!

Go big or go home. Or cry because it didn't work out. I heard at least one peeping from inside the shell today. No pips yet, though.
OMG, that is just so exciting!! Move on over to August hatch-a-long and let me know how things are going please. I'm new to the forum, so you may need to quote my name so I can keep track of your postings. You certainly went "big" lol
