Can anyone take a guess about this one? She or he is about 4 weeks old. Not sure if it's possible to tell yet. Her comb is way more developed than the others (even the 3 that are a week older) and is getting pretty red.

We're working on the coop today and I'm thinking about making it a smidge smaller if I'm going to have 4 chickens instead of 5.

Cute though, huh?

No, it's the only NHR. The others are Buff Orpington, Golden Sex Link and Black Australorps.

Sounds like a clear consensus...so sad. Will start asking around about a good home for him.

Well, I have little to no experience...but my hens, who are about 16 weeks old, have, just in the last couple of weeks, started to develop combs and wattles...So, um, your "hen" seems mighty advanced....

Good luck rehoming..........:|

edited for comma use (I will be teaching English this school year, and I must remember the finer details of the language!)
