PHILIPPINES BYC GROUP

Hi Oz! U mentioned sasso is a hybrid production so its not purebred New Hampshire Reds? Because I could tell the difference between the male and female. Males usually have white off on the shoulder and grow slower than the females regard feathering the wings
they are probably SA51 or SA51A hybrids.

The coloring on a New Hampshire is deeper red with no white. The hybrids wont breed true - their off spring wont give the same results as parents

Oh really?! Thanks Oz for the info about sasso! Well, I got all corrected from 1st and 2nd batch I could sexing to tell the difference. It matches criteria with the New Hampshire Reds. I go ahead paste what article said. Here it is...

Barred Plymouth Rocks can produce chicks that are easy to sex at hatching (they're black with yellow or white spots). With this breed, the males have yellow spots on their heads. For the New Hampshire or Buff Orpington types, the male chicks will have off-white streaks on their wings while the females will often have brown lines down their backs and/or dark spots on their heads.[1]

Oz, I'm trying to find it out where sasso comes from the hybrid breeds. It said from France something like that if that's right? Thanks for your patience! I would love to buy your birds but don't have enough room for more but maybe someday soon! :D

Regards, Brian from Baguio City, Philippines

That photo of 5 sasso. Only one male with white off on its shoulder you could see.

@ deaf guy welcome to BYC specially to the thread, i hope you enjoy

as for your Sasso = Kabir they were company names

naging pangalan lng ng manok ung company name nung dumating dto satin. un ay sa pagkaka alam ko.

as for the comparison of new hampshire and sasso = sa breading kc usually gumagamit ka ng main body kung saan ka mag infuse ng other bloodlines, so pag hndi nag work ung main body mo hanap ka ulit ng ibang body.

malamang ung sasso mo ang main body nya sa breading is new hampshire sbhn na nting 50% blood ang meron so the other 50 mahirap n yan itrace kc thats a company secret.
