Hello,
New here--I'm in the process of moving from Texas overseas to Australia in the next few months and need to find a new home for my pair of geese. One is African (male) and one is Chinese (female). I've had them for about 5 years now, since they were chicks. Unfortunately, I do not have any relatives with land large enough for wildlife so I'm trying everything I can to find a place that will accept them. I'm not asking for anything in return for the geese except that they be kept together and placed in a good situation with land to roam, people to care for them and a pond to swim in.
I'm also open to suggestions if anybody has any contact information for refuges, sanctuaries or farms in SE Texas (preferably) that can accept these geese. I've tried calling local animal shelters and tried internet searches with no luck so far. I'm attaching a photo of them below.
Thanks!
Ben
