Hello,
I have a couple questions.
My first question is: What kind of chicks would I get with an IB split White male and a IB dark Pied female. As well as an IB dark Pied male and an IB split White female.

My second question is: I have two white peafowl that hatched early last summer. If it were a male would the spurs be starting to show. Neither of mine are showing any signs of spurs so I am thinking they are hens.

Any help would be much appreciated.

White x Dark Pied is 100% pied. Being only split white, it would be 50% pied and the other 50% would be split pied. This is over a lot of birds that the numbers work out.

For the whites, you should be able to see some spur bumps, if you look in a month or two you will see small 2 year old trains developing. Catch them and look close and you should be able to see some of the differentiated feathers that make it male. Also look at size and start comparing to how much bigger or smaller they are in comparison to other 2012 hatch males or hens. Good luck

Thanks for your information.
The two White Yearlings are both about the same size as a '12 hatch IB Pied Hen so I am guessing they are both females, as they aren't showing any spur bumps either.
