mustard to rust color poop, worried, please help

I have 16 separate coops and runs,I have noticed mustard to rust color runny poop. I see this in several pens from time to time.
Is it something I should worry about... like e-coli or worse. They have been wormed with valbazen. What else can I do to stop this? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I would note the color of the stools, but also what the chickens look like--do they look ill, are they fluffed up, any respiratory symptoms? If you can post a picture of the typical droppings you see may help. Here are a couple of good articles on colibacillosis or E.coli infections:

Here are the pics, nobody looks sick. None of them are puffed up. I just got some from the show on the 23rd and they have the same color poo also and they have been quarantined in a new pen that has never had chickens in it before it is 100 feet from my other pens and located in my fenced in backyard. they don't poo this color all the time but I do see a fair amount of it. I don't know which pics are from what pens but these pics are from three pens 2 from each one.

As you probably know chickens have cecal poops about every 8-10 times, and those tend to be runny, sometimes foamy, and tend to be yellow-brown, reddish brown, and caramel/chocolate brown. There is a famous poo chart, although some say it is misleading. Those droppings are fairly yellow. I have read that sulfur yellow is the color to worry about. Blackhead as well as E.Coli can cause these colors stools. Of course it would be consistantly that color I suppose, not just the occasional one. Most commercial meat bird farms use bacitracin-medicated feed to keep E.coli from being a big problem. If you could get a vet to test a collective stool sample from your flock for worms and bacteria, it might help to know if you have a problem.

I would also consider worming your chickens with a multi-worm medicine such as Safe-Guard liquid goat wormer 1/2 cc/ml per chicken, and repeat in 10-14 days. Here is the famous poop chart: http://chat.allotment.org/index.php?topic=17568.0

My understanding you need to treat with another type of medication if it turns out to be black head.

Yes, I ve never treated it but you are supposed to medicate with metronidazole for 5 days, then treat with SafeGuard or Valbazen wormer, one that gets the cecal worms. I wouldn't treat for this unless I knew what it was though.

I am definitely not familiar with blackhead. A fecal float for parasites is a great idea.

How do you test for black head desease? They look like the Ceacal poops on the chart.
I have wormed them with valbazen recently.
