We have a black sexlink that is very listless. Could never catch hervto hold her and now you can just pick her up and love her. Was in the coop all day on a perch. When we let them in the hole yard she still stays in the coop but the floor of the coop. Could anyone give a idea what is going on?

It helps to list age, how long she has been sick, specific symptoms. Does she have diarrhea, what color stools. What does she eat/ is she eating well? Have you checked for mites or lice? Has she been wormed recently? Iss she laying eggs? Have you checked her vent for egg binding? Is she standing puffed up?

She has diarrhea, where ever you place her she stays in that spot and doesn't move or lay down. Had to move her from the coop & pen as two of the other hens were pecking her.

And her poop is whitish brown. She eats a little, but did put some raisens out there and she ate those up.
She is 7 months old and she was producing eggs. But not now.

I would check inside her vent with a lubed finger to see if there is an egg. Then I would worm her with SafeGuard horse paste1/2 ml and repeat in 10 days. Lastly if there is no egg, I might start her on amprollium (Corid) for coccidiosis.
