how to tell the difference between a peahen and peacock at 9 months old

Thnxx for ur info..
But actually I want to know smthng..
That how much time would it take for a male peafowl to develop all its bearing..??

Ok, let's start with ages. The year the bird hatches it is called a chick. After January even though the bird is only between five and nine months old it is called a 'Yearling' until the next January when it is now two years old. The following year, the third year the cock will have its first full train. From there on it will have a fuller and longer train every year. There are always exceptions to the rule, here is a yearling, a bird hatched in 2016 with over 25 eyes.
