Thanks for sharing that article. It is a good frame of reference to work with.

Although breeds are relatively well categorized within that framework, varieties tend not to be. So even within a breed that might be relatively well off in "watch" status, individual varieties might be critically rare. I'm not aware that variety status is being tracked by anyone; perhaps some individual breed associations are watching it.
