White leghorn rooster over buff orp hen?

i was wandering what this cross would look like. And if it would be a good egg layer ? I don't know I I put this question under the right forum but thanks for any reply.
 
White Leghorns are usually dominant white, so all the chicks will be white in color, maybe with a few colored feathers. They usually look a lot like a leghorn, but a little bulkier, they are decent layers, better than the orps (not as broody) but not as good as the pure leghorns.
 
I agree with Kelsie. They would mature as white birds with dark flecking. Body type midway between leghorn and orpington, and they would be good layers.
 
Yep, white birds with flecks of color. I'm not sure what the benefit would be from this cross--you'd lose some productivity from the leghorn, and some size from the Orpington. They're pretty much opposites on the chicken spectrum.
 
Thanks for the help I just had a couple hatch and I thought that they were leghorn x buffs he is white with a black dot on his head

I don't think that is a White Leghorn/Buff Orpington cross...you shouldn't have any dark flecking. It should be mostly white with some gold/buff maybe even reddish bleed through.

What else is in the flock that might have created this?

I have some Leghorn crosses with heavier layers and they lay well...just not as well as the Leghorns...and is heavier than a Leghorn but not meaty by any stretch of the imagination.
