We have a couple of ducks right now and I have been wanting to add Wood Ducks, Pintail and Mandarins. Does any one know of or sell hatching eggs for these? I have found plenty of places where I can purchase live birds, but I'm not really 100% confident in the shipping of live birds, never had it done before. We have everything inline with our state and federal permits. Have any of you purchased juvenile or mature ducks and had them shipped with success? Not having allot of success finding local availability of these birds, we live in Minnesota. Looking for thoughts and or advise on hunting these down. Thanks!

No-one sells ducklings or eggs. "Ornamentals" are sold as fledged, hatch year birds or adult "breeders".

Your best bet with Mandarins is to buy live birds as hatching these are really difficult unless you have a broody hen.

You can find expensive hatching eggs on eBay....but I agree and just but live ducks! It'll be cheeper in the long run...trust me;) I've had multiple birds shipped to me from different places in the US and all arrived in great condition! :)
