Cockerel and hen having troubles?

so for answers...

1) are they fighting?

probably no, because roosters can naturally be agressive towards hens, ALTHOUGH  this might be something to do with the fact that the hen is not always present and the rooster considers her not part of the flock.

2) how can this stop?

keep an eye on the bantam hen and make sure she spends plenty of time with the flock and not all her time as a broody hen in her nest. this may solve the problem in itself.


3) it this good or bad?

my bantam hen and rooster seem to get along fine... except for when she first comes out of the coop from her nest. no harm has ever come to my hen or rooster and this habit has been going on with these two for at least a year. just a few lost feathers but that's it.
