Looking into raising a few rabbits for meat

I noticed as compared to a dutch I found images of mine is marked a bit differently. Her front paws are part of her white area while the back toes have the toe socks. Im not going to be able to get pure bloods im sure for quite some time but since food rather than show is more of aim at present but if at future would this difference be acceptable in a show quality animal? Honestly it would be years ahead but never know what people will fancy lol. Daughter needs me but I can post another pic of her markings in a bit? What about my bucks odd behavior lol?

She from what you said is a purebred Dutch that's not show quality. She is mismarked. This is my Dutch buck is socks are off in the back is behind is head us off and is pants are waved a little.

Yes thanks, I also noticed she has a bit of double line along her sides in the saddle, a thin white shadow almost. But she is lovely to me. I told her when I got her she is lucky will be fed well, housed properly and pretty much fortunate as compared to the others sold today. She seems content. Introduced her to Wookie our half breed german shepard half wolf they call undetermined breed dogs here. We paid 250 dinars for him at 1 1/2 months old at the large animal mill in the city. Family was agast that we would spend that much money for a dog. But he was the only male available and he turned out to be a wonderful addition. Being black he drew lots of superstitious comments but he has a white crest on his chest. Now he is the talk of our part of town and everyone knows him and knows he is tame and trained. Makes a big impact with educating kids. Every animal we have will be used to educate ss well. So Nymeria has her book started and our adventure begins and my study begins on Dutch rabbits.

Great, took a peek at my girl this morning when I fed my big chickens and shes fine. Took her out to let our dog sniff and taste her a bit, I say that cause he acted like if I let him he would have nibbled her. I dont think he would mean it he lost his buddy she barked too much for our area and hes been exposed to all our animals. But my daughter said he took Mere out of her hands by the scruff and ran off. Thankfully hes on a roof so cant go far but he didnt hurt him, I think he just wanted to play but it made my daughter weary but hes young too and needs the exposure to other animals. My sil lost her two rabbits to stray cats she said and last month the dog killed one to many chickens so he is gone. Me I see as if they are starving what do you expect. Animals are hardwired.
