This is my first time with goslings. My Sebastopol/Toulouse cross goslings are 3 weeks old, our ducklings are 5 & 7 weeks old. Can I put them together during the day? I'm thinking I should still keep them separated at night. Thanks.

I raised my ducklings and goslings together no problem. They were about 3 weeks difference in age when I brought home the geese.

I have raised them together also. The only problem I have had was feather pulling - but when I increased the amount of greens I was giving them that problem went away. I kept them together day and night.

One of the goslings became sick, couldn't move legs, lethargic, etc. I gave him/her electrolytes & niacin in water but the gosling died. I put the other one in with the ducklings & its been going well. They've accepted the gosling and s/h seems happy with them. Thanks for asking.

Oh no, I'm so sorry. I hope the other gosling continues to thrive with its new friends (but I do think you should go out every night, have them all sit in your lap and read The Ugly Duckling to all of them so the goose (goose, swan, close enough) doesn't feel bad or get picked on)

Good luck!
