Seriously considering the sale of my entire flock. 10 birds in total. I have lost all of my favorite hand-raised birds to coons and it's hard to keep dealing with the losses, emotionally. I've decided to put all of my focus on my hedgehogs. This is a beautiful, established, non-aggressive mixed flock with no cannibalism/aggression problems. Used to being in the coop with a run most of the time. Pet or laying homes only, none of these birds are for eating. ALL BIRDS ARE STILL LAYING. Birds are as follows -
- Year-old Easter Egger hen. Muffs/beard, pea comb. Poor splash laced red color, would be GREAT as a project bird. Fairly certain she lays colored eggs. (very sweet hen)
- Year old Easter Egger hen. Muffs/beard, pea comb. Mixed color is something resembling blue laced khaki. Another bird that would be great for color projects. Fairly certain she lays colored eggs.
- Year old Easter Egg/Wyandotte cross. Clean faced, pea comb. Blue. Fairly certain she lays colored eggs. (very sweet hen)
- Sister to the above - Year old Easter Egg/Wyandotte cross. Clean faced, pea comb. Blue. Fairly certain she lays colored eggs. (very sweet hen)
- Year old Easter Egger/Wyandotte cross. Muffs/beard, straight comb. Black. Pretty certain she lays brown eggs.
- Year old Jersey Giant hen. The thing has been crazy broody lately.
- Few years old Silver-gray Dorking hen. (Very sweet hen)
- Few years old Dark Brahma hen. She is quite docile and will NOT do well with any aggressive hens.
- Few years old Black Langshan hen.
- Buff-laced Polish hen (bearded). Some years old, how old exactly I'm not sure. She is quite docile and will NOT do well with any aggressive hens. Yes, she does still lay every so often to the best of my knowledge. Her eggs are very similar to the Dorkings' so it's hard to tell when she does lay sometimes, so I'm not exactly sure how often.
Not interested in breaking the flock up, though for those on BYC I will consider selling some individuals for breeders.... or possibly the Polish for a person with a polish-friendly flock. Will sell all for $80 obo. Can also sell their feeders, 2 heated waterers, the rest of their food and bedding as well. PICK UP ONLY.
