Hello! I am new to the forums, but have referenced them for a good year in regards to my flock. So happy to finally be a member!

Anyway, I have a beautiful small orange rooster that cannot stay with my flock. He does not do well with the other roosters that I have, and tends to get pecked by them. I would love to keep him! But living in solitude is good for no one, not even a chicken! Most people assume that he's a hawk when they look at him. He's tiny, I'd say around 8" in height at most, but what a little character!

If anyone could give me any info on the breed cross or mix, I'd love to know! And let me know if you'd like him!

This is a mille fluer D'uccle rooster ....I paid 10.00 for mine

Oh interesting!!

Funny I was reading about the breed online and most say they are aggressive. I haven't seen that at all with this little guy! In fact he is just shy right now! Never shows any signs of aggression.

Interesting though, thank-you for letting me know!!!

And beautiful Roo by the way! He looks a little bigger too :)

I have a pair of them, and they are very docile. The mille fleur d'uccle roosters are usually docile, but the mille fleur d'anvers roosters (which look alike except for clean legs) are the ones that can be aggressive from what I have read. I hope this guy finds a home. I have mine in with a large mixed flock of large fowl with 4 large roosters. He holds his own, but knows when to lie low. His favorite duty is hanging in the coop protecting the girls in the nest boxes laying eggs.
