Silkies are the ultimate hard to sex breed.
Anything with a pea comb is tricky, too.
And slow maturing breeds like Standard Cochins.

Do you mean vent sexed from a hatchery, or mis-sexed from breeders?
Its pretty impossible to sex any bantams because their itty bitty baby parts are so tiny--hence why they are usually sold straight run. My local feed store will take the roosters back if they were sold as pullets. I seem to see quite a few 'Americanas' (aka Easer Eggers) waiting for new homes...

I've often wondered if certain breeds are harder to sex. Interesting thread.
