I just kept telling my Silkies they were some odd made up color. I have a roo that hatched out that looks like that. He has a blasted single comb though.
I have a few others that I have no idea what color they are even though Melanie did mark the eggs for me. Once they hatched out, I couldn't read what they said. Everyone hatched out about the same time and made a mess of the shells. They were under my Cochin hens.
I believe I have a few splash, a black and a partridge. Only 2 pullets I believe but I am not breeding them. I just really wanted broody hens and pets. Silkies make super pets and they know it!
