and please if any one is selling Buford Bronze peachicks let me know I live in a little town out of San Antonio Tx and I know is not a good idea to ship right now till Sep / Oct and is fine with me ,so please let me know

I got the knotted polyethylene nylon netting. I did research and got advice from some breeders on here of what to get and this is what they use.
And I really don't have any predators that will climb and chew a hole through it, so I went with that instead of wire.

They say to use the knotted netting because it doesn't hold the snow as much, so if you have no snow it probably wouldn't matter whether you got the knotted or (knitted is it?). I am in a snow area and have used poultry wire also, it holds the snow but a couple of bumps and it falls off, of course you end up buried.

thanks 3BirdGirlz now ,where do you get it from ? they have some at Amazon and it`s a 50x50 for $58.00 ,what do you think about it?

I plan on trying this out http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001W2AG2M

I know full well that it's not as heavy duty as some of the 'pro' offerings but it's also about 1/5 the cost and I'm doing a 125' x 125' area so that 1/5 is a significant savings... I figure it's worth a try, if I can get a year or two out of it I'll be happy and then I can consider upgrading to something better if it doesn't work well enough... But, if I can milk 2 or 3 years out of it with some mending here and there I'll be very happy and probably just buy the same stuff every 2-4 years...

BTW this will be for a supervised day only flight pen, and it's only for flight containment I don't expect it to stop any predators... It's also going to be fully sheltered by a barn on the West side, so it won't get hit as hard with wind and storms that should help...

I know it's not much help since I have not installed it yet, but that is going to have to wait until later this year as the funds (and time to build out a flight area) are a little tight right now...

Thanks Meepbeep for the info ,I need something strong ,and that will last me for a few years ,but same thing here ,got to wait for better times

Thanks 3 Birdgirlz ,I will check on it and see if they have other sizes ,cause I need at least a 50x50 :cd
