Hi Guys! I'm new here and could really use some help sexing my chickens. 7-8 weeks old: 2 Light Brahmas, and 2 Golden Laced Wyandottes, was hoping for pullets, but may have some cockerels.... heres my beauties! :)

Light Brahma #1 below -Tail sticks up more, feathered in very quickly and beautifully, a little shy but very sweet, not a very noticeable comb or any waddle, but slightly pink in the face. Basically, one of my brahma's tails is up and perky, and the other is straight down..?

Light Brahma#2 below -Tail is always pointed down and isn't quite as attractive as my other chick... walks almost like a vulcher with larger shoulder wings. Very sweet social and curious. Feathered in quickly but not quite as fast as the other. No waddle, no pink or too noticeable of a comb

See how the tail is down

GL Wyandotte #1 Below 3 pics.... Feathered in very quickly and beautifully, noticeably smaller than the other chickens but is the same age, my most curious bird... most obvious waddle and comb of the flock which makes me think cockerel, but the size of the bird, no bossy behavior and it's feathering makes me think pullet... any help??

Lola below

Golden Laced Wyandotte #2 ABOVE- Has no Comb whatsoever which confuses me.... has no waddle, has a much longer tail than the other GLW, a lot less golden coloring and much more black and is a little bigger as well.

THANK YOUUU!!

The GLW with the small dark comb has the typical rose comb that Wyandottes are supposed to have. The other has a single comb, which apparently happens with hatchery birds sometimes. The size and redness of that comb makes me thick cockerel, but the lacing still looks like pullet--watch for solid patches to develop on the shoulders.

Brahmas, I can't see them well enough to make an opinion.

Clearer Photos.... One cockerel? Thanks again...

Thanks so much for your responses.... It's so funny cause HE/ (maybe she) is the smallest of the group.... but has always been the one to flap out of the box! The chick was the most beautiful chick from the very beginning and my son has just fallen in love with it.... FIONA has been her name.

Are we almost 100% sure cockerel...? I would need to check with the neighbors and see the temperament of the bird, as I was not planning on any roosters, but we are quite fond of our little Fiona! HAHA A name change seems appropriate.

I have a total of 6 chicks, 2 other Buff Orpingtons I did not post as I naively assumed they were pullets by their nature and waddle and comb. They are about 8-9 weeks old. Here they are...

Really good to hear!!!! This chick is so funny, tries to escape out of anything, but just so it can run to us and see what were doing, it's not aggressive at all and seems to be pretty independent and sturdy!.... really cute, small and beautiful. So you've had GLW roos? I have never had a rooster, and have 2 little boys, 7 and 1 1/2. All our chicks are very socialized and played with daily... do you think that can form a kind and friendly rooster with this breed then? Thanks again for the help.

I do think it's possible. I have 1 jersey giant Roo who is the friendliest one ever, my GLW extremely friendly, molted Cochin really friendly, lavendar Orpington, and GL polish, are all nice. The only one I ever had an issue with is my RIR, but I don't have the heart to let him go yet. He's still young, and hoping he becomes friendlier.
