Sanded all the edges to remove any sharp burrs.
Started the curve on the curved edge of kitchen counter, bent into a "C" by hand.
Carefully continued bend with a pair of soft jaw pliers to prevent marring...worked into a ring till the holes lined up.
Reopen ring to get on leg, carefully close on leg with soft jaw pliers.

I knew that question was coming and forgot to take a picture this morning...headed out of town so it will probably be Sunday before I can take one.
Only applied to one chicken about a month ago and checked every few days for any issues. Worse issue was that chicken knowing that I was trying to catch it, so, changed to evening inspections after they went to roost. Fits loose enough that it sits on top of foot...is that ok? Chicken sort of shook leg at first but by the next day was walking like it wasn't there.
 
So, I got a chance to take some pics this evening. You'll probably notice I accidentally put the leg band on upside-down.

Thanks for the pics......those look like they fit pretty good, maybe a little wide of band....lol.
Just watch for any abrasions.
