Hello all. I have a hen recently turn broody about a week ago. We have decided to let her sit on the eggs. We have noticed the last 2 days we haven't gotten any eggs from our other 4 hens. Can a broody hen cause other hens not to lay?

Do the other hens have access to the nesting box the broody is in / have you counted the eggs under her? Hens prefer to lay where other hens have laid eggs and they very commonly will lay in the same nest a broody is sitting in.
A broody won't make other hens stop laying (but it is not unusual to have multiple hens go broody at the same time, especially broody breeds) Otherwise, if your other hens aren't broody, .. how many eggs do you get a day / it could just be chance that nobody laid two days in a row? Could they be hiding eggs, could something be getting/eating the eggs etc.
