Will cornish X broilers lay eggs??

I have a Cornish X pullet (6 1/2 months) and she’s not laying yet. The one I had last year sadly passed away but she was my favorite chicken I’ve ever had. She was 2 1/2 years old but she got attacked and eaten but she was very healthy and would’ve lived longer. She layed 5 very large white or cream eggs a week.
