You may want to consider Jenks Hatchery in Tangent, Oregon (www.jenkshatchery.com) next time. I pay $1.35 per chick for Cornish X from them and have been very happy with them. I order 30 at a time and spend $40.50. I pick up my chicks since I am close enough, but they ship as well.I found meyers to be one of the more reasonably priced places, I ordered 25 broiler birds from them and it was $63.75 with shipping to california this is our first time ordering from anywhere and our chicks wont ship until the end of september (earliest they had was sept 15th)
