chirping inside egg

With chickens it's normally day nineteen to start peeping

Check the eggs for any holes left in there it might be that the membrane dried over

I noticed one small little crack about 2 hours ago where it looks like it is trying to peck a hole. I dont know how long it has been there because it was on the bottom side of the egg. And it it hasnt made any process in the last 2 hours. This is my first time hatching so in trying to be patient but i feel like i should assist.

wow - I am at the end of day 19, and I cant hear any peeping yet... fingers crossed, all or some are ok..

It can easily take 12-24 hours after the initial pip before they do anything, a lot of times they pass out and take a long nap so you sometimes won't hear much chirping unless you entice a chirp out of them by doing something like tapping on the incubator or tapping on the egg itself...
