We just got 2 pretty 3-month-old girls, barred rock & Americauna. They've been in our coop for a few hours and I've been watching then (keeping my distance since they are probably stressed from the truck ride home).
They both ate some but the Americauna has mostly been laying down and sleeping. Is this normal? Also I haven't seen them drink any water. Just worried, I've never had hens this young before. Thanks!
