Mum picking on her babies?!

Hi all, I need advice please. We have 3 feathered babies 1 is a cockerel, and their mum appears to be picking in them! Occasionally even pulling a feather or 2 out!
Mum used to be at the bottom of the pecking order but clearly she is further up the train now!- should I be concerned about her actions towards her own babies!!??
 
I would guess, she is weaning them. One of my girls hatched out 8.after three weeks she starting chasing and pecking them. I had to separated them from her.
 
Thank you for your responses, I'm assuming that I just leave them to it then unless it gets out of hand?
