Here they are in the Brooder. Out of the 45 eggs we had, 14 made it to lockdown. If you notice the one chick in the photo with the real thin feathers. Thet egg started moving around before any of the others. Then several of the eggs hatched. It pipped early in the afternoon. All of the other eggs hatched within minutes of the pip, but this one just kept moving its beak in circles but would unzip. After the other 9 all hatched we finally decided to help this one out. It was a terrible experience. The poor guy was stuck in its shell and was drying out keeping it from rotating. It looked awful and I really didn't think it would make it. I left it and one other in the incubator all night. I awoke this morning to find it dry and happy. I placed it in the brooder with the others and introduced it to water. It's a lot smaller than the others and don't have as much down. I still have high hopes for it, and certain it would have died had we not opened it up. 4 eggs left in the bater that are not moving around at all but will give them until tomorrow.
