Yesterday (Sunday) was moving day for my girls. They are 6 weeks old (tomorrow). They lived inside in the back bedroom for their first 2 weeks, then moved to the garage for the next 3 1/2 weeks. I just finished enclosing one of the 12 x 12 stalls inside the barn for their new home. While my son finishing wiring the top, I built them a PVC feeder. They were a little timid to start with but soon started running and jumping all over the place. Next weekend, I plan to build a watering system using the water cups.
This was their home for the first 2 weeks.
This was their home for the next 3 1/2 weeks.
They were a little slow coming out.
WOW! Check out all of this space!
What's this new thing?
Instinct took over and they started to dig and take a dust bath.
I filled the new feeder and hung the old feeder and waterer while they weren't looking.
I ran outta time to build them a roost before church, so I quickly threw up my old 3-wheeler ramp for them to climb and roost on.
I have several more 'projects' in mind for them...I just keep runnin' out of time. I'll post more as I add more.
