Guineas for meat?

Anybody raise guineas for meat? Free ranged?
I'm thinking about it.
Haven't ever tasted one but they grow so fast, eat ants, ticks and snakes, plus mice and rats. Need very little feed once outside. Roost high and can fly so less susceptible to being eaten.. They lay a ton of eggs which can be eaten or hatched for more. Not a cRo Ing, although they can be loud. No rooster aggression.
So, what's the meat like? Do you raise the fat meat variety or just regular?
I just need to talk the hubby into trying the meat.

Eat them regularly. All ours are free range too, come and go as they please. We keep them mainly for tick control, but eat one when the mood hits.
They taste more like a gamebird, think pheasant or grouse. All dark meat and a tad stronger than farm raised chicken, but personally I love the taste.
