Hello, everyone!
Thought I’d take a minute to introduce myself, and thank BYC for having such a helpful site for people who raise chickens. I joined the forum back in July when every internet search I ran for tips on how to take care of my badly injured chicken led me back to a site called Backyardchickens.com.
With my beautiful hen fully recovered and summer chores winding down, I decided to check out the site more fully, and it’s a shocking amount of fun. 
I look forward to exploring it further.
Oh, and I have seven hens: three Ameraucanas, two New Hampshires, one “mystery hen” that seems to be a mix of the two, and a White Pekin duck. My username is the nickname of the hen who brought me here. Thanks!
