Day 20, No activity.....Is this normal? Chicken mom freaking out! :)

Not knowing the whole story----I have to ask----You do realize that it takes about a week longer for some Duck eggs over chicken eggs? Some Duck eggs take even longer.

Don't fuss at me----just Making sure!!
Yes, I did. Hatched duck eggs several times but these ones were incredibly late. It was dumb to simply un-plug my incubator however, something I will never do again. They had been under a chicken and she had done a poor job with her eggs so i removed them from her. My guess is she hadnt been warming them properly, she never seemed to catch on to rolling the eggs under her.

OH. Ok so you were going by the time you put them under the hen as a start time?

I am glad you got some hatches!!

Day after I set them was day one, they were about a week late as I recall. I believe i had another group of eggs due to go into the hatcher and thats why I was so hasty to unplug it.

!! :)
Happy it finally worked out for you! Your temp. drop in lockdown makes me think of the time I had duck eggs that were 5+ days late so I decided to call it quits (and stupidly not candle them prior to doing this) and unplug the incubator. The next morning I woke up to the sound of chirping ducks! I quickly threw them in my other incubator which was still running while I heated up the hatcher. More than half of them hatched... Chicks can make it through a lot!

Very interesting

Most people try to find/buy another hatchling for their loner chicks. I didn't. My second hatch did not hatch out until my loner was almost 2 months. Since they are all inside they still aren't together unless they are out for playtime, but all of the pens are in the same area so they see each other. Even if you did another hatch it would be alone for over a month. You'd have to give the new ones time to grow before putting them together. I would either see if you can find someone that has new hatchlings to get a couple chicks from, or make yourself her companion. My loner is part of the family because of the special circumstances. Here's my only hatcher from my first hatch attempt, taken about a month ago I think:

As you can see he's quite tame....lol
Was reading this thread and came across your pic. LOL! I once had a hatch where only one of the chicks survived. She became our house chicken for awhile. Then I had more and when they finally got old enough, they went to the outside. When they were all near the point of lay, something got into the coop and killed every last one of my chickens...except Scuttlebutt, my house chicken! Somehow she hid herself and survived. Poor thing! I brought her back into the house after that. I ended up giving her to some boys in the Ag program at the local high school. She was so sweet and tame!
