I don't know many people on this site, but, @Debs Flock, any names you could link in?? Everyone knows someone.Okay. I'm really sorry I keep posting on other people's things I haven't figured out how to make my own, so I'm truly sorry! I got a new Ducklings only a few days old. My grandpa accidentally ran over his the ducklings foot with my grandpas office chair and tore the skin. He has a huge blood blister and he won't stop Crying. At first I thought he was fine he was running around after I soaked him in ebson salt (sorry for spelling) and them I wrapped his foot Up. After words I brought him to my dads and my little sister had grabbed him and ran off with him wanting to show him the duckling to a boy she licked. He ran off with her and dropped her The duckling. (Sorry for changing the pronouns I don't know if she is male or female yet.) Now she wont walk on it and her cries are getting worse she won't go the sleep and I think now it may even be broken. Can anyone please help. I dont want anything to happen to her.
mainly I just want to know how to treat her cut and how to stop the pain.
I think it's a wise decision taking him to the vet. That way you can rule out brakes, sprains etc. Hopefully as the day goes on and he is resting the leg and foot will get better. Probably being stuck he tried his best to get out which made things worse so having a vet check him out will be best. Hope he recovers quickly.I have a question so this morning when I woke up my welsh harlequin duckling had his leg stuck in there pin. I do not know how long he had been like that before I woke up. But now Charles can not walk his toes like crumple and he can't even stand I am taking him to the vet I intern at tomorrow just to get a opinion but what do you think that happened? When I found him I wrapped him up and got him warm and made sure he had water and food.

please let us know what the vet says. and Welcome to BYC @mvzm
You could try placing him in some warm water [we call it water therapy] And let him float around that way you can see if he can use his leg and foot with weight taken off of it.Thank you I am just worried about him
