We have two ducks, and we'd like to get them something to swim in that's larger than what they have now, but we're on a budget and the only decent sized things we can find are hundreds of dollars, and most kiddie pools we've looked at wouldn't hold up to duck claws and beaks. Any ideas?
If you can't find any hard pool I think the cement pan would be the next easiest to find. All the hardware stores carry them and it should only be around $15. I know the pet stores had the hard pool clearanced since summer is over. If you are looking to spend a bit more stock tanks would be the next route i would go. Again I would check craigslist before buying new as they can be pricy too, but they last forever and can be repurposed.
