Prep for ducklings

I'm going to the feed store this morning and I'm trying to get everything I need for my ducklings that will be here next week. I'm getting a lamp and some vitamins. Anything else in particular I should get? Any first aid stuff? I have Blue Kote and nutritional yeast. Should I get all flock feed to non medicated chick? Thank you

I use all flock[crumbles] that way there is no waste when they go to next level and everyone can eat it from hatch to old age. Have you seen the caring for ducklings thread? and be sure to get a digital thermometer so you can keep tabs on the temps in the brooder. Very exciting and sure look forward to seeing the littles.

Thanks! I'll read through the sticky again and I finally got a book of my own this time. I have the thermometer. I was going to just get everything next weekend until I remembered what weekend it is. I HATE Black Friday and avoid all stores like the plague.

I only went one time to Blk Friday years ago, now I know why I avoid like the plague too.
 
There is also a sticky for duck medical kit - it is a long list, don't get overwhelmed, but it is something I am aiming for whenever I have a chance, I add to my duck medicine chest.

I have found more than once that something I bought for them helps me out.
