This is a Minnesota Winter Hummingbird:  Notice the innocent smile, the sweet song it sings and the beating wings..

I just love this.... I am freezing from snow plowing and seeing the stupid turkey jump into that feeder makes my day..

Composting is good for the environment..
Composting Geese is better for the environment
Composting ducks is best for the environment.
Start your composted Duck pile today,
if you do not have your duck
Borrow a neighbors duck to compost own...

Cool!
I have a sunflower seed feeder out my big bay window. Lately I've been seein sparrows, white and red breasted nuthatches, tufted titmice, a couple purple finches, a cardinal pair, black capped chickadees, occasionally a red-bellied woodpecker, and a billion juncos:)

That stupid turkey is one of mine.  She has figured instead of cleaning up the waste seeds under the feeders, this one figured out, one little jump and she gets fresh seeds..

And it drives my wife bonkers when she is up there eating, so that is a bonus!

Heel low:

Turning out to be a traditional winter here...

Keep the feeders topped and the suet on the go

Had a visitation by two lovely wilds... :love

They blend in so well.  ;)

Had more visit last year but no matter, always nice to see them!  :love
