Need incubator help

I want to hatch silky eggs and I need to humidity level to be between 45 and 50 I had just that by how much water I puit has to channels it has to channels I only have one filled what the humidity level is still 67 how can I bring it down to 45 to 50?

Glad you could join the flock! To lower your humidity you need to remove some water from the incubator. Surface area is what creates the humidity not the depth of water so if you can reduce the surface area the humidity should go down. You will probably not need as much water as you think to create 45% humidity. Add just a little water and then let the incubator settle before making any adjustments. Humidity needs to be an average over the entire incubation period in order for the eggs to lose enough moisture. Short term variations in humidity should not be a problem as long as the average is ok.
